PROJECT 2 | Pharma Wholesale Distribution

Developed and implemented strategies that resulted in annual sales growth of 35% positioning the company among the Top 20 locally-owned companies in Puerto Rico. Revenues increased from $100 million to $220 million in 3-year period.

Managed, planned, developed, coordinated and implemented business and marketing plans for all four corporate business units including Hospital Med Surg, Institutional Pharmacies, Retail Pharmacies and Alternate Care. Also supported the Customer & Vendor Acquisition and Retention Team, Human Resources and Technology functions.

Company was acquired by Cardinal Health for $500 million and is today the largest pharmaceutical and medical-surgical distributor in Puerto Rico.

PROJECT 3 | Financial Services

As Account/Operations Manager for Multinational Insurance company, created a team of 30 Sales Agents that produced $10 million in Annualized Recurring Premium over a 5-year period from $500k to $2.1mm per year.

As a Leadership and Sales Management consultant for the largest life insurance company in Puerto Rico, developed and implemented a 13-week boot camp for 80 supervisors and 22 sales managers that resulted in monthly sales records in 2010.

As acting Agency Marketing Director for a Financial Services firm, developed, managed and implemented strategies that resulted in annual sales growth of 50% versus forecast positioning the client among the largest foreign insurance and financial services companies in Puerto Rico. Growth was 13% versus minus 20% for the industry.

PROJECT 4 | Hospitality & Tourism

Developed and implemented strategies that helped Tourism Company achieved the highest average occupancy percentage rate in five years with rates of 82.5% (high season) and 79.1% (fiscal year).
